Rev. Cindy in Cuba:  a Perspective on the lives of queer and trans people in a socialist surveillance state

Rev. Cindy Bourgeois will tell the story of  her trip to Cuba where she participated in the  “Journey Against Homophobia and Transphobia”, a kind of pride month in Cuba.   She also spoke  at the Gender and Sexuality Diversity Conference at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Matanzas and participated in worship and other events in Havana and Santa Clara.

The program is on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, 7:00 pm at Grosvenor Park United Church.  All are welcome at this free event; refreshments following.
